A burglar! I slid under my covers, my heart pounding. Five minutes later, I got up and he was gone. My parents aren't here, so I flew downstairs, dialed 911, and waited for half an hour or so. But then, I heard rustling behind me and gasped.
"Who's there?"  Then I looked behind me and Wham! For a moment, I saw the burglar himself but then got blown by the back of my head. My eyes blacked out, and the next thing I knew, I woke up in the morning with a sharp pain on the side of my head and saw my parents, looking concerned, in front of me. 
But I didn't tell them about last night.
"AAAHHHH! Strangers!" I screamed. No I swear, I don't remember them. In fact, I don't remember anything in my life at all, especially my own name!!! The day that we let it free, we already knew that one day this day would come, we tried to figure out how to stop it but we just couldn't figure it out, why dose it want to destroy are town, and why did it have to be are town, we didn't know how to keep it from hurting everyone but we did know that what ever that thing is, is that it is deadly, what ever was in its way from hurting everyone and the town would get slaughter. 
"How can we stop it from killing people?!" i asked so vibrantly. 
"I don't know but maybe we could gather everyone up and get a rocket ship and fly out of here!" said my idiot brother

"Get to the cellar" Called father we obeyed *click* the sound of the latch locking on the cellar which was fully furnished as they came down quite often. The bombs don't hit our area but it's better safe than possibly dead.  All we could do is wait for them to end and see if our friends are still there. Ever since he died the bombings were monthly at first but slowly they got more and more common once a week now. It seems like we might pass soon, we can't go anywhere the everywhere is being bombed. Our government bombs them back but they come back stronger every time. Nukes haven't been used yet, though when they do... we're not lasting long, maybe those people in the top tier super secure bunker's that live in them, do they even see sunlight anymore? who knows. Anyways the bombing is over for now at least, were told to wait an hour after the bombs to make sure all the timed ones go off. When were in the bunker it's dead quiet besides the bombs. Time to go! finally getting out of this cellar, its surreal outside, smoke everywhere and firefighters speeding past everywhere. Little jimmy climbed in bed all tucked in under the sheets his mother gave him a good night kiss, and left the room . Little jimmy was tiered from the long day and had no trouble falling to sleep. As he dozed off he thought he heard a noise. it startled him awake. it sound like a creaking sound but could not tell where it was come from. The noise grew louder jimmy looked over the end of his bed and his heart started to beat faster. The noise was coming from his wardrobe. The doors opened and it came out. It had no eyes and was a glowing it's skin like a lantern. Jimmy saw the long arms and hands reach out he noticed it had no fingers. His heart was beating so fast he could hear it almost. It all started on a Wednesday night when both of my parents were out and I decided to have a couple of friends over. When I say a couple I don't mean 45 people, I mean a couple as in 3. I don't have a lot of friends so the only people that come over to my house is always the same, Richard, Julia, and Dan. Jack knew he needed to get his brother out so he devised a plan. he would dress as a prison guard to get in and then he would go through the vents to the hall way outside his brother's cell. the place was high tech so it wouldn't be easy to get in without someone to hack the systems. his friend Ashley knew code better than anyone. She could hack into secure networks with her eyes closed. but she was on vacation in Hawaii and having a pretty good time. but he needed her so he called her and asked her to help him break is brother out of jail. reluctantly she agreed. Nathan had never been the nicest to her, he hated her ever since she hacked his savings account. but she would do anything for Jack. so she grabbed her lap top and waited for midnight. that night they put the plan into motion. Jack walked in right as the shift changed. he only had a few minutes before the other officers arrived. Ashley instructed Jack on how to open the vent. then she disabled the alarm. she than pulled up the layout of the vents and told him where to go. Then she hacked the security cameras and told Jack to wait. than CRASH!!! he very loudly fell from the celling with a thud. Following Ashley's instructions he ran down the hall to his brother. I had called the police and they arrived but it was only a dream. I was terrifed and told them everything but they brushed it off and told me it was just a dream. This happened everyday for over two years then one day I woke up sweating and panting. Another dream and went back asleep then I woke up startled about 30 minutes after something was in my room.  The wardrobe doors opened and it came out of my wardrobe a stranger. I screamed and the police came. Turns out all those dreams were real. The man had been living in my closet for 3 years. I started having the dreams two years ago. Lesson learned. I will check my closest before bed.

The fire came from nowhere. It was 3:00 in the morning so one was wake and all the lights were off. All of a sudden I felt really hot and it was in the middle of winter. Then I heard a loud BAM! Then a shatter of the vase that held the flowers my friends and I had picked just the other day. I ran down stairs and saw my brother standing in front of the burning, bright red fire. 

"Go get Mom quick!" My brother shouted back at me. So I ran back up stairs but Mom was already awake.

"You have a scared look on your face what's wrong? And why is it so hot in winter?" She said.

The year started off fine pollution levels went down quite a lot. We had invented brand new state of the art technology, we were starting to advance towards the future!
The tech we were inventing was supposed to help destroy pollution, multiply earthly matirials, help us travel faster, comunicat better and much more!
At least that's what we were led to believe. . .
We were complete FOOL'S TO  BELIEVE THAT!
They lied to us. . . they enchanted us with what could be, distracting us from what it is actually. They made us believe they were creating something that would give solve all our problems, something that would allow us to do whatever we wanted, something that let us live freely.
But no, they created. . . a monster.
Why would they do that? Well I don't know, in fact no one in this world knows except. . . for them.
They created something the world cant handle, something they cant even handle. . . THERE SO DUMB!! There as dumb as. . .as. . .as A ROCK!!
Why would anyone risk the lives of the people,the animals, everything in this world just for knowledge or whatever there aim was!?
Now that thing they created its gone, it escaped, its running wild across this world. . . Its already destroyed 2/3's of this world, isn't that good enough? What about the rest of our lives? I slammed the door and I begin bolting away.  I recognized an elevator in the dark and I went into it like a fool. He was waiting for me down there.

there was only 1 possible explanation.  they had been there the night before, and they could have gotten the paper. i needed to track them down.

That Morning-
its was your average, florida morning, warm sun, gentle breeze, misting my legs. I sat in the sun, letting it flood my soul and smiled, it was a great day, Not only that i was getting a hundred bucks later for babysitting the baby down by the lake, only a 20 minute walk. His name was AVery. Me and My best friend babysit him every sunday for Mrs, McGreens bingo with her mom. My phone started chiming, it was Baillie, she wanted to facetime, i answered, 
"HEyyyyy! "i yelled 
"Hi! I cant wait for tonight, and she going out to dinner so were each making 100 bucks! score!" Baillie yelled smiling while taking a bite of her toast. 
" i cant believe she paying each of us 100, but i got to go i'm going the store, see you later" i winked as she waved and hung up.

I got back from the store, reaching into the fridge to put a carton of eggs in,  my mom yelled at me 
" Kamryn! Baillie is here!" i slammed the fridge closed, dropng the eggs on the floor, i didnt even watch as they exploded, i ran out the door 
" bye mom! Love you!"

DING DONG! i rang the door bell and waited.Mrs. McGreen opened the door and let us in.

A please had effected the city months ago. So the governor built us a city that's protected from the outside world. The monsters out there lurk on the other side of our barrier. People have been vanishing from the city without a trace. My sister went missing 2 weeks ago a never returned. But that's when we realized something was off. The governor didn't do anything about it. And we have to be indoors by 7:35pm. The people who stayed out never came back. The governor just said its that monsters but we haven't seen one ever. It just what the governor said to keep us inside these walls. But in the end, it turned out the governor was infected. And built this city and made up these so called "monsters" to keep us in with in these wall as test subjects to fide a cure for himself. I'm leaving this place.
