Learning is facilitated by technological medium both in situations of so-called normal than in those of difficulties for various reasons. Certainly because involving the pupil, it arouses the interest and motivation are the key levers for learning; secondly because the technology welcomes and gratifies the different learning styles without favoring one or the other; Finally, because it effectively removes the obstacles of a purely instrumental making easily accomplished what otherwise would not.The teacher is no longer a repository of knowledge but is one who realizes paths through design activities appropriate to their students, personalizing and creating learning environments that favor it.At the very time when the world of instruction changes, you immediately perceive the benefits: from the look of the children who come on, active participation, debate-dialogue with peers, the desire to get involved.

At the end of last year we decided the common rules for the proper use and, also introducing mentoring activities with students from other classes, are learning to help each other on a specific task, on a quest or experimentation a new app. Changing the teaching automatically change the trim of the classroom and spaces : the chair is no longer there , the tables are joined by groups of in the corners you work with textured material.

Then it is necessary to establish the roles or choose them directly to them . In my experience working in small groups ( 4-5 students ) is the most profitable because they can help each other and are not likely to be dispersive .
To operate the business well requires three things : clear goal , established times and structuring of the groups .

Often work in pairs or groups of 4-5 elements . Depending on the activity , the children can choose their mates ; or form groups of level; or mixed groups , with a mentor who acts as a support to all others . Since my students are young rarely I ascribe roles : I prefer to agree with each other and all do everything . From my experience children more timid or insecure are more at ease in the small group and expose themselves with peers . Children who have a stronger personality tend to prevaricarsi if they are in the same group , so it is better to separate them .

I heard a lot about the Flipped classroom , but still have not experienced directly because my students are young . From next year, however, I would start to include this type of lesson in my classes . The first problem that comes to mind will clearly explain to parents that will have the task of following up their children in viewing and listening lessons . The times will be stretched out as not all have internet at home and / or PC , that will be organized with their classmates or with relatives.

I was really thinking the webinar module 2 " Tablets and parents involvement" , perhaps because it is the weak point of our digital project. The ideas that I will implement it immediately and are two :

-open class parents to get them to attend lectures and engage direttaemente ,

-somministrare a questionnaire on the rating and the criticality of the project ( as well as get feedback from families and possibly make changes ) .

There are two critical issues working with the tablet :

1 ) good connection ( that supports 20 tablet , the devices of the teachers and all PCs that are in each classroom ) . Fortunately, this problem has been resolved in mid- school year by the Institute that has invested .

2 ) evaluation : it is not always easy to assess the activities of the children , especially when they work in groups . In this regard it was a very useful document found in additional resources Module 3.
