He was born in Britain, he doesn’t had brothers, but he had a father Calphurnius, and his mother, Conchessa,  

When he was 16 Irish pirates captured him and brought him to Ireland, where he worked 6 years time as a slave. One day he heard a strange voice that said: “You must escape, Patrick. You have a mission -but not as a slave.” So he sailed back to England. There, he studied to be a priest and again he heard the strange voices: “You must return to Ireland, Patrick, and convert the pagan people of there to Christianity” After that he returned to Ireland and he spent his live there, building churches and teaching the word of God.

There are many legends and myths about St. Patrick, for example that he sent all the snakes in Ireland into the sea, or he was the first missionary to barbarians beyond the reach of Roman law...
