In Denmark, there is land value tax, which is either:
- The total value of property minus minus the value of improvements.
If it isn't this, value tax is:
- The value of the property last tax year, and it gets bigger or smaller depending on the growth or decline in percent.

In Denmark, we have the Scandinavian welfare model, and in USA, they have the residual welfare model, which is very liberal. And the liberal opinion upon taxes, is that they should be as low as possible. This results in USA's residents paying a lower tax than we do in Denmark, and other socialistic countries.

Federal tax rates vary from 10% to 39.6% of taxable income. State and local tax rates vary from 0% to 13.30% of income.
