The most famous local food that I have tried before is nasi lemak. This local dish contains rice that is submerged in coconut milk to cook and is served with sides such as a sunny-side-up egg, cucumber, fried anchovies, rich sambal and peanuts. Not only that, there is also an optional add-on if you find it not satiating enough which is fried chicken. It goes well with nasi lemak and can be eaten with the same sambal.
