Lovers rock is a song about unrequited love and bitter emotions. It's a really good song to listen to with your lover and has a lot of lines referencing love like "She might want to kiss before the end of the song". The song has a story in it of someone (most likely the author) getting drunk at their lover (or future lover)'s house for the night. They listen to music (lovers rock) and kiss.

It could also be used as a confession of love (wink wink).

Falling behind tackles how lonely the author (and most likely the listener) feels. The world around them is filled with love but they cant seem to find any, and they feel like they're falling behind while everyone else finds the love of their life.

Falling behind could also be used as how someone feels moving to a new country. This applies to the author because the author is originally Icelandic but moved to Los Angeles.

The themes in Falling Behind mentioning how her friend already "found a new guy" could mean that she feels like her love life is lacking, but could double as meaning that she feels like she's getting situated slower than her friends or people she knows.

Where'd All the Time Go? is about experiencing the loss of someone close to the author. The song mentions how someone close to the author "gets dressed like a pillow so shes always in bed" referencing a loved one in a hospital bed, and "flowers for the sick and dead" mentioning how the author would bring flowers for the said person.

More lyrics like "She's on the go, way too fast and way too slow" describe how the author's loved one's life is ending too soon but they're still suffering in the hospital, "She'll turn to stone, in hospitals and funeral homes" talk about how the author knows that their loved one is about to die, and "See how the hands go, waving goodbye" refers to the authors loved ones saying their goodbyes to the dying individual.

It's a great song and incorporates sound effects like someone breathing into a ventilator to really set the scene.
