He waited and waited until I was ready to pick him up but when I arrived, he was already dead. I have travelled Tagbilaran to Cebu alone just to get him, but the sad thing is that before the ship docked, he died.

I like action movies a lot and mind-bending ones all the more. This movie has all that and more. I love how the concept/major theme of the movie is so complex and out of this world. I literally had to pause the movie so many times just to digest the information the characters were spewing. I enjoyed it a lot especially because I, too, experience dreaming in a dream and it's just a satisfying thing to watch people explain dreams and how free you are inside it. The movie also gives a glimpse of how the mind of a person works when dreaming. I can go on all day talking about this movie. I would literally sell my left lung to be able to watch this movie again for the first time in cinema.

It has a truly powerful message that everyone should take away from this brilliant film: live life to the fullest, because you never know what might happen tomorrow. Life is really too short to waste a second. So if we still have time, let us love who we want and make the people important to us feel loved.

When a door closes, I'd like to think that the path behind that door was not meant for me, and that God is preparing something better. This quote also  encourages one to abandon the old and embrace the new. Oftentimes, I am afraid to face new challenges, environments, and circumstances. But, according to the quote, change also brings about new opportunities. 

This movie is particularly special to me, especially now during the new normal, because it inspires me to move forward and push on with my dreams despite the changes that is happening due to the pandemic.

Love is patient..Love is when something is deeply and unbearably inspiring and liberating. True love is accompanied by respect, which you don't ask for but acquire and freely give.Their love had an unexpected yet uplifting effect on both of them. They overcame unfathomable odds till Jamie's final breath. Landon, in particular, was able to hold on because of love.

Love is forgiving..this movie shows the beauty of forgivenes,nothing beats a real act of begging forgiveness and receiving one in return.When Landon hugged his father for the first time, he felt terrific. Jamie's love taught him to forgive and to find hope in any circumstances.

Jamie's objective is to experience a miracle, according to her profile in their year book, which Landon reads. He had assumed that her miracle would be her recovery from her illness. He didn't understand it at the time, but he was live proof of Jamie's miracle. He'd gone from being a slacker in school to a reformed young man with a renewed outlook and faith. This story was about how one would try hard to positively cope to their loved one's death and moves forward, "Find your waves" (your path in life). A lot of people may be around you to help you, moving forward is yours decision alone.

Unlike any other Cinderella story or movie adaptation in the past, this version was a whole new twist. The movie gave life to all the characters - with all the singing and dancing - making the flow more lightweight. People might think I'm way ahead of my time to be so in love with this movie, but honestly, I don't care at all. If I have the chance to recommend one movie to all my girls out there, it would be this. The story placed a huge part of my heart as it reminded me that there are more to life than childhood fairytales - perhaps the depth of adultery and dreams. Cinderella, in this movie, chose her dream of becoming a dressmaker more than being with the prince. It tackled about self-love, diversity, courage and hope. I love that it didn't only focus on Cinderella's love story, but also shined light to societal problems in the 21st century.

Overall, this movie gave a lot of impact to girls like me. One, because of the handsome young prince. Two (and most importantly), because of all the beautiful lessons that the story hold - all wrapped up in one frame.

Disclaimer: I get that the whole twist might ruin children's imaginations, but I am sure as hell that it will make them brave enough to look forward and make the most out of reality.

When I knew that it was getting an animated adaptation, I really got excited because this anime movie talks about our mental health. The movie is about Nishimiya Shouko, a deaf elementary school girl bullied because of her disability, in which one of them is Ishida Shoyo, which later in the movie became Nishimiya's love interest. The movie portrayed that Nishimiya suffered from the bullying and developed depression along the way, while Ishida portrayed that of both depression, regret, and social anxiety. The reason this became one of my favorite movie is because it deals with our mental health, it may have not been popular by the time because it was released at the same time as Kimi No Na Wa. This movie had a big impact on, because I too was depressed and developed social anxiety. It left an impression on me that we need to move forward and stride, to surround ourselves with good people.

The children got their freedom for once and very thankful to maria who showed them the outside world.
