Yes, I can relate because when you don´t see your friends in person makes ya´ll start to drift apart. Some people actually lose a lot of friends that way, I know I did. Last year I used to talk to alot of people now I only talk to about 2, times got harder and people went their different ways. Online Instruction changed a lot of peoples lives.

It was hard for me to do my assignments because sometimes the documents wouldn't load or the WiFi would be so slow that it would take an hour to submit an assignment.

Yes, I relate with Titilayo Aluko's story because when the pandemic started she almost finish with the most important year of highschool which is her junior year. What happens in her junior year affects whether she will be a senior and whether she will have options for college. In the same way when the pandemic started I was in 8th grade. The most important year in middle school. That year determined if I was going to graduate middle school and what school I was going to for 9th grade. It was a very big deal and having to finish it off at home just added on more stress. But just like Titilayo, I got through it and passed with flying colors.

I relate to parts of Titilayo Aluko's story because there were times where my parent's didn't have time to pay the WIFI bill. Though, when it goes out they pay it rather quickly. During 2020, when the pandemic hit suddenly, I didn't have the proper technology and had to borrow things. I also relate to the part about having family around when doing online school. I have siblings and they have their own online zoom classes around when I have classes; the backgroung can be loud.

I half relate to Titilayo Aluko's story. I say this because there were times when i felt unmotivated to do any work, and just wanted a break from school. Like she said even during breaks you still gotta do work or make up assignments that you missed. It's like if you miss one assignment it brings your grade all the way down, and you'll have to do a lot of work to make up what that one assignment did. It's stressful because we get a lot of work and no time to relax. Then teachers or your parents wonder why your grade is going down, or you don't feel like getting out of your bed to go to school.

I wouldn't say I could necessarily relate with Titilayo Aluko's story, but I've had similar experience. I had a laptop, but it didn't function well. I can relate to her not seeing her friends during the pandemic. You don't talk to people as much and you start to lose friends or lose the close relationship you had with people. Hearing her story made me realize how many students were affected during the pandemic.

Although I can't relate to Titilayo Aluko with having no laptop or internet, I do relate to her in being unmotivated. After covid became prominent and we transitioned to online school I started to become unmotivated and began slacking on my assignments. This was not usual for a student like me, but from the overwhelming assignments to the lack of social interaction and practically being trapped, I felt over it. I often found myself, even to this day, building up missing work and having to rush to complete at the end to ensure I still maintain good grades. Quarantine has also created disconnected and caused me to lose some of the friends that I had and I went from having about 12 to just 4.

i can relate because that in-person experience is different. i have focusing issues and it makes it harder when i have to watch something on a screen and i'm not interested in it. a natural instinct to this is to turn it off or change the channel when im not entertained by something on a screen. yet when i'm not interested in person i respectfully sit through it until it's over or make up an excuse to get out of it.
