Ann Pettifor, a political economist and Hamza Hamouchene, researcher and activist, educate about the power relations within our system and the injustices regarding the lack of finances and technology in countries in the global south, pointing out that these Struggles are an international problem.

Giving examples of Israel as a “green superior technology power” Hamza shows how colonialism and racism is still included into our economic system and how “saving the world at any cost” works as a shield for exploitation.

While these exploitative practices are presented as easy fixes, the left tries to make changes inside the system when it’s the whole imperialist system that has to change, to tackle the real issue and find solutions not only for the global north.

Ann concludes this is happening because of the lack of understanding of what is really going on, since the question to ask here is: how do we come together and challenge that system?

She focuses on bodies wounded by the power struggles, oppressions and violence that plague the human condition.
