An oppressive silence stood in mid air like sheets waving at each other. A cold chill crept up my spine . I gazed at the ancient grandfather clock which seemed to stop working . In front of me stood two ricked doors openly slumping forward the rusty hinges.

Staggering forwards the floor broad groaned under foot wile silence followed me. It stretched across the never ending hall as if it was rubber band. The celling was being flooded with cracks of cobwebs wile on the wall faded paint peeled like shredded shin, leaving the walls naked.

I felt like something was watching me but then a sudden noise shattered the silence. I edged forwards following the noise and within seconds darkness pressed in from all sides. Instantly, the grandfather clock sang its rhythm Tick Tick Tick.

Suddenly, the moon light fractured through the cracked windows, creating distorted shapes. I have just witnessed a living nightmare! In front of me stood a tall, pitch black figure. Its marble like eyes were flames, burning is the seasons of the year. His arms stretched up so high that I thought it could touch the moon.

1. Do not touch electrical things with wet hands

2. Do not touch wire that is broken while it's connected to a plug

3. Do not put the wire in your mouth when it's plugged

4. If something is broken always switch the plug off and then tell an adult

5. Do not use anything connected to a plug while a storm is going on

I enjoyed reading the good thieves (or adventure type books) as I found myself wanting to read more even when I needed to stop ; it kept me on a cliff-hanger. The book was a very exciting and thrilling book to read, you never knew if they were going to get caught or not. The characters would never give up on each other or their plan. 

The book is about a girl called Vita and her mother. They came from England to New York to get her grandpa to move back with them as he only had a tiny apartment. But she found out that grandpa once owned a fortune and a castle and an emerald necklace that belonged to her grandmother. So Vita and the rest of her team tried to find the hidden necklace before the horrible liar Mr Sorretore did.

I would recommend this book.

Minister, Neville Chamberlain announced

that a state of war exists between Britain

and Germany following Germany’s

invasion of Poland.

In the last few months, Mr Chamberlain

has valiantly tried to maintain the peace in

the face of Hitler’s aggression. However,

the unprovoked invasion of Poland has

finally forced Britain to take military

action.

Speaking on the radio, the Prime Minister

explained that the German government had

been ordered to withdraw their troops from

Poland. He went on to explain, “No such

undertaking has been received and

consequently, this country is at war with

Germany.”

Air-raid warnings

The city is now braced for German air

attacks in the coming days. The evacuation

of small children has already begun and

everyone is reminded to listen out for air-

raid sirens and carry their gas masks at all

times.

The King’s message

King George reacted to the news with calm

determination, giving these words of

encouragement, “There may be dark days

ahead, but with God’s help we shall

prevail.”

France joined Britain at 5pm yesterday and

other countries are expected to make

announcements in the coming days.

First David and Tuckey are evacuated.

Next they get evacuated away from the city a go to the country-side.

Then they meet Mr Reynolds and Ann.

After that they stay in a farm and they soon they found 2 German Pilots then gave 1 up.

Finally they go home when the war is over.

I hope you are well. I am writing to tell you about my life at war. Sometimes it is scary, but I am trying to be brave.

I miss you and home very much. I think about the farm every day.

Joey is with me and I look after him. He makes me feel happy.

We went to battle Hastings mesuem and battle field.

The book is full of action, teamwork, and clever plans. The characters are interesting, and each one has a special skill that helps the group. The story keeps you wanting to read more because you never know what will happen next.

If you enjoy stories about friendship, mystery, and brave children, this is a great book to choose.

I picked 8/10 because I did love the theme of the book that it's about teamwork and mystery that hooks

If you have heard of the movie 'Transylvania' then there is some history about it, Transylvania was a movie based on a true story in the region named Transylvania in Romania and yes the hotel is real and so were the characters, but the hotel is used as some sort of museum to recall the history that took place in the building. There are a couple of traditions that take place everywhere in Romania that I still know nothing at all such as: the bear dance, traditions where you wear a mask and a couple more but I will not say them because it will be a whole LIST of traditions. Fun fact about Romania and Spain is that they both have a romance language (Spanish and Romanian) and they do contain one or more accents, like in Moldova you speak the same language (Romanian) but in a different accent (sounds more like your pronouncing a 'y' in most words) and I don't know about Spanish. That's all, Thank you for reading this because it took me 2 HOURS to rethink my whole career.
