Very nice news for our team! After the competitive selection of eTwinners, the team of school № 10 received an award from the European Commission's educational program "eTwinning School Label 2018-2019"!
The European Commission's eTwinning Program announced that 1211 schools in Europe received the "eTwinning School Label" after a two-way application. The awarded schools are recognized as leaders in such areas as:
• ICT
• On-line security
• Innovative and creative approaches to the educational process
• Facilitating the continuous professional development of the teacher
• Facilitating the common practice of teaching students and teachers as equal partners in the educational process.
This is not only a recognition of the personal success of the teacher and students, but also recognition of teamwork in the eTwinning program.
We also congratulate our colleagues from Ukraine (20 schools), Dnipropetrovsk region 2 schools (Dnipro and m. Marganets) and other European countries!

Many thanks for the recognition of our work ! This encourages us to continue and try to improve ourselves. Even  if  I never received the email announcing the label, even if the diploma was send  by mail with several months late, last autumn, what was really important for us was that we would have access to tools and training as promised.

Nevertheless, and on this point allow me  to express an opinion somewhat different from those published on this padlet, apart from the honorific title received, there has been for our school and for us personally no other benefit. We were surprised to see that the congress of Rome was announced AFTER the choice of participating etwinners. In addition, I can’t have access to trainings and meetings because I do not have the diploma B2 of english required  (although being student of an  anglo-hellenic school, I took English lessons every day during 10 years...). 

So we are still waiting for the implementation of the originally planned professional development for ALL etwinning schools. In the meantime, we are continuing the good work.
