Mitosis is the process of one parent cell duplicating into 2 daughter cells it started at interphase then in prophase the chromosomes pair up and the centrosomes move to opposite sides of the cell. Then in metaphase the nuclear membrane dissolved the and the chromosomes line up at the equator of the cell. Then the spindle fibers are attached to the chromosomes and are pulled apart in anaphase. In telophase the cell is pulled apart into 2 daughter cells.
