This scene starts when Jody wakes up really early because there is a wind storm outside. The wind storm concerns him about Gablin so he looks out his window and realizes that gablin is not in the barn.  Jody then quickly gets dressed and and goes outside to check on the horse. He runs outside in the freezing cold rain and sees a lot of buzzards on tops of Gablin. Jody was horrified  and had no other choice but to attack. So he did and it was not good for the birds.

Jody’s mom: don’t worry about the pony. He’ll be alright. Billy Buck is the best horse doctor in the country.
Jody: ok
Narrator: so jody walked upstairs to his room, not knowing what would happen to that pony or if it would survive
Narrator: jody had no other choice but to pry for that pony while he was asleep
Jody: god, please don’t let the pony die
narrator: just as Jody said that the pony decided to run away out into the middle of the field. But what the pony didn’t know was that something was about to attack him. The pony made a mistake running into the middle of the field, he did not know what was coming. The vulture swooped in and started at attack and circle the pony. Jody had woke up with a freight, not knowing what had happened to the pony, but when he looks outside his window, he is absolutely horrified. Jody looks out the window and sees the pony getting attacked by a vulture. Jody has no other choice but to run and attack that vulture. Jody runs up to the horse and snatches the vulture off of Gablin. Jody continuously punches the vulture. Jody will not stop until this vulture is dead. Jody was hitting the vulture so hard that blood started to draw. He was still beating the dead bird when billy buck pulled him off and held him tightly.
