If you have a Mac lab, Apple Remote Desktop is your friend. I use it in my Broadcast, Video and Multimedia classes. The client software is already built into the Mac OS, and the administrator software is 70 bucks, you install that on your instructor machine.
I was warned it would be a headache to install but haven’t had any issue for the two years I’ve used the software.

We're on PCs and our school system uses NetSupport. It's not perfect but it has done a great job of helping me keep an eye on student machines the few times I actually sit at my desk. Probably the feature I use the most is to lock screens when lecturing. Hope this helps.

We use Netop vision. The program is perfect as you can do numerous things. I have used this program for over a decade.

  • ability to limit students use (lock keyboard, lock or limit internet)
