In the mainstream media, just like the slogan in The Clean and Clear advertisement, “See the Real Me” be yourself and show your girly side, It gives her the joy and confidence that she won't be as self-conscious at home as she was before, and will be surrounded by friends, letting more people know their authenticity. But this also has two sides, in the last paragraph “However, increases in normative trans visibility, like preservations of Jennings in the “See the Real Me” campaign, do not translate into enough political power to address larger unequal power systems that delimit the life change of trans subjects (Reinke, 2018, P45).” The changes that happen are not really that big, they just allow them to accept their lives.
