Is she the protagonist, antagonist, or minor character?
She is a minor character because she is not in opposition with the main character and she lacks depth.

Is she round or flat? Explain your answer using details from the text.
She is flat because she does not show many characteristics in the story. She is very bland.

Is she static or dynamic? Explain your answer.
She is static because she never changes throughout the story. For example, she didn't want to be overprotective of him at the beginning of the story. It states " It was a wild looking place...but she said of course Jerry...". She didn't change at the end. It states "She looked at him closely. He was strained. His eyes were glazed-looking. She was worried. And then she said to herself, 'oh, don't fuss! Nothing can happen. He can swim like a fish".
