I used to watch the music video of this song all the time and would dance and sing along with it. I remember when Katy and some guy got stranded on some island after a plane crash and she was dedicated to finding a way to live it out. I also remember when a tiger would roar somewhere throughout the video. I don’t listen to it much anymore but I recently removed it off my playlist.

I got introduced to this song by TikTok, and it’s so good. I kinda found out that this song was made in 1998 when I was looking for songs made in the 90s. I thought this song was made in the 2000s. This song sticks in my memory because the lyrics “No matter how I think we grow, you always seem to let me know, it ain’t working.” This song is just so heavenly, it's a song I know I can sing too if it's playing at a party.

I remember going to a wedding and taking pictures of myself and posting myself to this sound. This wedding was like one of the best ones I’ve ever gone to and got to experience. I loved the diversity of the wedding and the theme. I remember waking up in the morning at 7am, showered and took funny pictures of my cousins sleeping. Then I got ready for a tea ceremony and I was matching with my sisters and mom. The wedding was the big part, obviously. I felt so good about myself and I was just so happy. Everyone that I talked to on that day is still around.

This is the song that gets me pumped because it's literally in the name. Laugh now, cry later. This song could and would definitely be my pregame song to get hyped and get rid of all the bad thoughts in my mind. Once this song turns on everyone is hype and they know it's time to lock in. It’s like God’s Plan by Drake.

This song makes me emotional because it makes me remember when I had the perfect friendship with someone, I had a really strong friendship with them and I threw many horrible things at it to ruin the perfect friendship.  I think about that one thing mostly in my everyday life and how much regret I have. This is the one song that never fails to make me cry if I zone out just listening to it.

My mom is the strongest woman I know, she’s gone through so  many things that some people can’t even imagine going through. She handles tough situations and never gives up. She's always there for me no matter what, her ability to still deal with her three annoying daughters is so amazing. She’s dealt with so many family problems and can still find a way to make our house feel like a home. My mom has never heard this song but this is the one song that reminds me of my mom when it comes on.

I have always been my father’s favorite child, no matter the mood swings, no matter how much money I spend on his card, no matter what. I’m also the one who pisses him off so bad til he goes crazy and starts breaking stuff or something. That was a joke but I do make him hellllllllllaaaa mad. He introduced me to this song when I was younger and he used to play it when we were on the way home from Chuck-E-Cheese. Although my dad and I don’t have the best relationship I’ll always love him.

I remember going to an away volleyball game with Charlotte and Keleiha, and this song started playing. I was singing and laughing with them and just having a lot of fun. This song is really special with them  because it's the one time I think of when someone asks me “How are you and Charlotte?” or “How are you and Keleiha?” I think they’re really amazing and they never fail to make me laugh. They mean the whole world to me, yes I have lost them once but I never wanna lose them again. This song symbolizes them because they’re always energetic before our games and it just gives us a positive energy no matter if we win or lose the game. I love them so much and I hope they are some of my longlife friends.

Everytime this song comes on it automatically lightens my mood, it’s just something about this song and the specific part 2:04 to 2:53. I've been a fan of his music since 7th grade and I’ve found myself listening to his music often now. I would say I’m a big fan but like I wouldn't go to the moon and come back to go to his concert. I know that a lot of other people would though. But it would mean about a million dollars to see his music live. He definitely has a heavenly voice and if I got offered to go to his concert never in a million years would I say no.

This song is dedicated to my best friend at a different school. She was here in 6th grade and we had the same math class. She and I clicked and bonded quickly and we always got along. She means the whole world to me, I’ve lost her once and I don’t ever wanna lose her again. She's become so special to me because she lets me talk about the same thing over and over again without getting tired of me, she checks up on me and knows immediately when I’m not okay. It's weird because she knows even though we don’t see eachother everyday. She’s made me feel good about myself when I feel so down I know I can text her anytime. I’ll forever be there for her like how she is for me. This song symbolizes my best friend because she is the one person I know that goes through very similar problems with me and I know she's still pushing through everything no matter what.

This song because it reminds me of driving to the beach with your rooftop off, that's basically the perfect summer vibe. My sister would be in the car with me, I imagine driving myself to Great Mall to go shopping. In the future I will most likely know every lyric to this song just singing my heart out. Whenever this song comes on I would not wanna skip it.

This is one of the only songs I know lyric for lyric and is a song that reminds me of great friendships, something about this song I will always love is definitely the beat. I love the way it goes, it just goes perfectly. If I were to share this song with others it’d probably be in my car while I’m driving and I have the aux and this song turns on.

This song automatically gets me in my feelings, it's like a song about a guy needing to let go of a girl that keeps trying to go back but left him for someone else. I also feel like it's like comparing yourself to others because that person doesn't like you back and instead they like someone else. I tend to do this a lot, so listening to this exact song makes me feel better because of how sad it is, that's how this song is connected to those feelings. I don’t listen to this song often but it always makes me sad.

This song always makes me feel a type of way because of how energetic it sounds. Listening to this song makes me think there's a sunset and im with friends blasting this song driving back to our hotel from the beach. I probably listen to this song every once in a while, it just always lightens my mood whenever I hear it. This song makes me imagine myself dancing with my friends being at peace finally, not stressing about anything at all, knowing I’ll be going home after going to bed.

I’ve known this song since around January, and the only reason I started to love this song was because of the intro. I feel like this song reminds me of myself because of the lyrics. “Would sell their little souls, just to make it with the blonde” Though I don’t know what specifically what it means, I have a feeling it means that a person would do anything just to fit in. I struggle with this, ever since middle school started I still haven't found a place where I fit in easily without having to change anything about myself.

I never listened to this song during 6th grade but I know I discovered it in 6th grade. I never would have thought this would be my song, I’d probably think I’d have some fun song but no. In 6th grade we all knew I was a really shy girl who would NOT take off my damn mask. I remember letting myself get treated so badly and I just wouldn't let go. I would be in like every class period listening to music, during the pandemic I didn't really listen to music like how I do now. Abdullah was not mid.

I used to listen to this song on repeat in 7th grade, the meaning behind this song is the feeling of nostalgia and capturing the feelings of wanting connection and freedom. Last year that’s all I wanted for myself, a connection with someone and just to catch a break. Last year was probably one of my worst school years ever but If I could live it again I would. This helped me get through the end of the year only because of the last lyrics “Moon, river, and me” It just sounds nice and the song was very catchy to me at first.

This is my 8th grade song because I will forever miss this place. I wish I could stay in middle school where the school picks our schedule for us, where the campus is small, only 3 grade levels, where sports are so fun, and where we don’t really have to worry about a single thing. I’ve also spent most of my year missing the past and how simple and easy it has been ever since 8th grade started. Though, 8th grade has given me many great opportunities and I’m grateful for it.

This song is a song everybody knows and will sing no matter what. I remember this song being played at one of our most important events, the haunted house. This is just a song that's connected with “we fell in love in october” deja vu is also always most likely played in October. Deja Vu to me is like a song of remembrance, hearing this song will always make me think of leadership and how sad, happy, funny, and such an amazing place it was.

The first line is “Spring into summer, and the winter’s gone”. Spring is known as middle school, summer is highschool, and winter is elementary. Another part in the song is “I'm always forever running back to you” and this is literally it. I never found myself missing elementary  but I have a feeling I'm gonna miss middle school so much. I don't know something about the song that is relevant about my future I'm building for myself but maybe it’s saying like let go of things and just move on with life.
