I chose the crucible because it best represents this time, crucibles are used to melt solids as you add more heat and pressure the faster the solid melts. This is kind of what happened in Salem, many people were tested and killed until no one in Salem could trust each other. I chose the witch in the cemetery to represent the many victims that were killed for not pleading guilty for being a witch.The picture of the court in Salem is where the "witches" were sentenced. One way that people could figure out if someone was a witch was if they floated or sank if you floated you were a witch. This is just one way many innocent people died. The last picture shows how the victims were interrogated in court and how odd these cases really were.
