It was a pleasant surprise that they would have a friend from they hometown to try to get through this with. at first they thought that the battle they were going into was going to be quick and easy and the germans were going to surrender right away, Because they didn't want to battle. When they were pulling up to the beach of the battle, Woody and marcus's mind was quickly changed when they saw dead bodies lying everywhere. They were now scared and knew that it was going to be a deathly battle. After a while of of being in this battle woody completely changed so much so that Marcus did not even recognize him.

Invasion was based on the battle of D-day. Around %50 of casualties left the war with PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder). this is a crazy number considering all the soldiers that fought in this war. This was a big problem because for many of the soldiers there life after was ruined even though they did survie.

There are plenty of ongoing wars going on in this world as we speak. These conflicts need to stop. The first reason is war endangers us, war not only endangers the ones battling but civilians also. secondly it hurts our environment a big part of war is to control resources, such as oil and gas and that oil and gas is sometimes leaked into the oceans. lastly it is very costly, in 2015 US declared military and defense budget of $601 billion dollars. All of this money could be going to much better causes.

We need to stop wars and push towards world peace, which may never happen in this war filled world .
