Sharing your Major Project

AM In this session you will share your major project and outline the key knowledges you have surfaced (conceptual, contextual, theoretical, technical)

PM Sinead will show some key examples of creative practitioners using education in a range of different ways. We will discuss knowledges and accessibility to knowledge that different learning environments present. You will start to outline the who, what and where of your learning session plan.

In this group you will explore what education means as a key part of your creative practice. Through a series of reflective workshops, live practical observations and group discussions you will use your major project as a starting point to develop and deliver a learning session in an open school.

Education plays a big part in a range of creative practices. We will look at case studies of how different practitioners use education as an intention, context and application for projects. We will reflect on our own experiences of learning and share positive strategies, ask questions about what knowledge really is, who gets to teach and where learning can happen.

This is an opportunity for anyone interested in teaching, participation and engagement to get an experience ahead of graduating developing and developing a live session.

Developing your plan

Peer Study Session
