Objective: Improve listening, writing and grammar skills in English by practicing

professions and occupations using the Educaplay app.

General Instructions:

Listen: Pay attention to the audios and videos related to different professions.

Writing: Answer questions and complete exercises by writing sentences correctly.

1. Listening Activity: "What does this person do?"

Instructions: Listen to the following audio where a profession is described. Then,

answer the questions.

Audio (Example):

"He is a doctor. He works in a hospital and helps sick people. He wears a white coat and

uses special tools to treat patients."

Questions:

a) What is the profession of the person in the audio?

b) Where does he work?

c) What does he do?

d) What does he wear?

2. Grammar Exercise: "Complete the Sentences"

Instructions: Complete the sentences with the correct verb in the present simple. Use the

verb in its correct form, taking into account the third person singular.

Exercise Example:

3. Writing Activity: "Write about your Ideal Profession"

Instructions: Write a paragraph of 4-5 sentences describing your ideal profession. Make

sure to use the verb "to be" (ser/estar) and the verbs in the present simple correctly.

Example:

"My ideal profession is a doctor. I work in a hospital and help sick people. I wear a white

coat and use special tools. I enjoy helping others."

4. Interactive Game: "Guess the Profession"

Instructions: In this activity, you will be given a description of a profession. You must

guess what profession it is.

Sample Description:

"I work in a school and teach children. I give lessons in math and science. I help students

learn new things every day."

Possible Answers:

5. Question Exercise: "What does this person do?"

Instructions: Form questions about professions using What does or Where does.

Sample Exercise:
