Position: Packaging Associate

Schedules: 
SWING SHIFT // Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-11:30PM (first day 2:30PM start)
DAY SHIFT // Monday-Thursday, 4:30AM-3PM (first day 5AM start)

Job Responsibilities

• Work on a food production line

• Fill and pack food products

• Lift boxes and materials during the shift

• Stand for a long time

• Do repeated work like bending and stooping

• Keep the work area clean and safe

• Work around strong food smells like spices and cocoa

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Set up and take down audio and video equipment for meetings and events.

• Check and maintain equipment to make sure it works properly.

• Work with staff to prepare meeting rooms and technology needs.

• Fix simple technical problems during meetings and events.

• Handle and store equipment safely.

• Keep track of equipment and supplies.

• Help improve scheduling and use of meeting rooms and equipment.

• Help the Facilities Manager with other building or office duties when needed.

Requirements

• Experience using audio and video equipment for meetings or events.

• Ability to organize equipment and keep inventory records.

Help children learn, play, and grow in after-school and camp programs at Bryant and Laurelhurst schools. Staff help create a safe, fun, and caring environment for elementary school children.

Job Duties

• Help plan and lead activities for children

• Do arts and crafts, games, clubs, and group activities

• Watch and support children during play time

• Help children learn social skills and work together

• Prepare light snacks and meals

• Help set up, organize, and clean the classroom or activity area

What you will do

• Check online purchases for suspicious or fake activity.

• Help investigate chargebacks and payment disputes.
  (Example: when a customer asks the bank to reverse a payment.)

• Track refunds, fraud activity, and payment problems.

• Work with Customer Support and Operations teams to solve payment issues.

• Help recover failed or incomplete payments.

• Check and match payment records to make sure numbers are correct.

• Work with gift card and international payment programs.

• Create monthly reports about payment trends and problems.

• Research missing or unmatched payments.

• Pull daily reports and organize refund information.

• Help with month-end accounting tasks and reports.

Skills and experience needed

• About 3–4 years of experience in:

  • accounting,

  • accounts receivable,

  • payment operations,

  • or similar office/accounting work.

• Good computer skills, especially:

  • Excel

  • ERP/accounting systems like Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, or Microsoft Dynamics.

• Basic understanding of accounting and payments.

• Comfortable working with large amounts of data and many transactions.

• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

• Able to communicate clearly with coworkers and teams.

• Good organization and time management skills.

Helpful but not required

  • fraud monitoring,

  • ecommerce/online shopping systems,

• Online adult classes starting in June (Summer Quarter)

• In-person youth classes starting in September

We always welcome Japanese language teachers for both online adult classes and in-person youth classes.

Youth Program (In Person)

• Teachers must come to the JCCCW building on Saturday mornings.

• Classes are once a week on Saturdays from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

• The school year is from September to June.

• There are 32 classes total during the school year.

• Each class is 2 hours long.

Adult Program (Online Only)

• Classes are online in the evenings after 6 PM on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

• Saturday morning classes are from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM.

• Classes are either:

  • once a week for 2 hours, or

  • twice a week for 1 hour each.

• Each quarter lasts 10 weeks (20 teaching hours total).

• Teachers must know how to teach using online technology like Zoom or computers.

Requirements

• A teaching certificate is not required.

• Experience teaching children or teaching Japanese language is required.

• Applicants do not need to be native Japanese speakers.

• However, strong Japanese speaking and writing skills are required.

Pay

• Pay depends on experience.

• Teachers work as independent contractors, not regular employees.
