In this part of the story, Jonathan Harker discovers that he cannot leave Dracula’s castle. The Count avoids daylight and seems to appear in strange ways. Jonathan starts to understand that he is in real danger, and the castle becomes scarier every day.

I think Jonathan will look for a way to escape, but Dracula will try to stop him. Maybe he will explore secret rooms and find something shocking.

I liked the atmosphere because it was mysterious and full of tension. I disliked how Jonathan ignored warnings and walked into danger. PAGES 10-30

I think the next topic of the book it's gona be about art or culture of china.

I learn about the different emperors and dynasties in china and the contributions to ancient China during the time they reigned.

In these pages, Jonathan Harker visits Count Dracula's castle. At first, everything seems normal, but he soon notices some truly chilling things. Dracula never eats with him, doesn't see his reflection in the mirror, and only appears at night. Jonathan starts to get scared and realizes he's trapped there. I think he'll soon try to escape and tell people what he discovered about Dracula's dark secret. I learned that sometimes trusting strangers can be dangerous and frightening. I didn't like how lonely Jonathan was; he felt very sad and tense.

Jonathan Harker travels to Transylvania for a business deal with Count Dracula. Before going to the castle, several people warn him not to go, saying Dracula is a vampire, but he didn't listen to them. He arrives at a gloomy castle and feels strange, both welcomed and trapped. As the days pass, he notices odd things: Dracula only comes out at night, he doesn't reflect in mirrors, and there are three very mysterious women. Jonathan starts to get scared and realizes he's a prisoner. Now he's looking for a way to escape the castle and Count Dracula, because he fears for his life in that isolated and terrifying place.

I thing he will try yo escape.

I learn that you can't trust just anyone.

In this part of the book, Jonathan Harker goes to Count Dracula’s castle to help him with some important papers. At first, everything seems normal, but soon he notices very strange things. The Count never eats, and he only goes out at night. Jonathan realizes that he is trapped in the castle. I think he will try to escape soon, and Dracula might follow him. I learned that being too curious can be dangerous. I also learned to trust my feelings. The new words I learned were castle, mirror, and shadow. This part was scary but really exciting. Bridget went to her work, she doesn't like her boss. When she was working, her friend, Magda, called her. Magda called her to tell her that she have arranged for her builder to go and put some shelves. She also said she was sorry for bothering her with her boring life. Then Bridget's phone rang again, this time was her other friend, Jude, she was calling her to complain about her boyfriend, Bridget told her that maybe they could meet with their other friend, Sharon (Shaz) at the next day. Magda called again, she told her if she could meet her the next day, Bridget told Magda that she was meeting Jude and Shaz. Magda asked if she could come over, so Bridget had no option, so she told her to go with they. Bridget thought that Jude will be mad at her for inviting Magda because she wanted to talk about her boyfriend.

I think that then Bridget will call Jude to tell her that she invited Magda and Jude will be angry.

I liked the way she is so disorganized with her time that she doesn't even think before telling yes to a plan.

I learnt a few words: marvelous, it means something incredible; vile, that means very unpleasant; and gorgeous that means very beautiful.

And the most famous and well-known places of China.

I think there will talk about of the cultures and the food that is eaten there, and the leaders of China.

I learn about the animals that live there, some places that are important in the Chinese culture and some important information about the lenguages and information about the leaders and belief.

I dont like that it's a lot of information and it's not always easy to understand.

I think next we will read about modern cities and how China has changed with time.

I liked learning about the countryside because it is very different from my country.

In this part of the story, Inspector Morse and Sergeant Lewis begin investigating the sudden death of Laura Stratton. They discover strange inconsistencies, especially surrounding the stolen jewel. Suspicion grows as they interview the American tourists. I think Morse will uncover a deeper connection between the tourists and the theft, possibly revealing that Laura's death wasn’t natural. I liked the mystery and how Morse uses logic to solve problems. However, I didn’t enjoy how slowly the plot moved at times. I learned new words such as alibi (proof of being elsewhere), inquest (a legal investigation), and enigmatic(mysterious or puzzling).

In this part of the story, James Bond is suspicious of a man named Auric Goldfinger, who seems to be cheating at cards. Bond starts to investigate and uses a trick to expose Goldfinger’s cheating. He discovers that Goldfinger is using a hidden earpiece and a partner with binoculars to help him win. This part shows Bond’s cleverness and sense of justice. I think Bond will confront Goldfinger more directly soon. I liked how smart Bond was, but I didn’t like how dishonest Goldfinger was. New words I learned include: Surreptitious (adjective)

In this part of story begins in Miami, where James Bond is enjoying a holiday, although he is actually on a covert mission. He meets an old acquaintance, Mr. Du Pont, who asks for his help in winning a card game against a man named Auric Goldfinger. Du Pont suspects that Goldfinger is cheating and wants Bond to investigate.

I think Bond will investigate and discover that he will cheat.

I liked that they asked Bond for help because he is a very good investigator.

In this part of the story Bond tells him that if he goes to Mr Du Pont andgoes to the card game wheregoldfinger is, then he realises that he is cheating with his assistant oddjob, then he intervenes and exposes his deception and thus Mr Du Pont wins a lot of money

After the game, Bond reflects on Goldfinger's personality, describing him as a ruthless man obsessed with gold. Bond also notices Oddjob's strange strength and behavior, which makes him even more suspicious.

I think that later they will meet Goldfinger again and try to take revenge.

I liked that Bond exposed Goldfinger with his cheating tactics and that Du Pont made a lot of money, which is probably why he hired him.

Jonathan Harker is back in England after his scary trip to Dracula’s castle. Lucy Westenra becomes very sick, and people are worried because no one knows what is happening. Strange things happen to her at night, which makes the story mysterious. I think next, Lucy’s health will get worse, and the danger of Dracula will become clearer. I learned that I like the mystery and suspense in this part because it is exciting and scary. From the pages 20 - 30. New words I learned were:

In this part of the book, Bridget goes to a café with a friend and talks to one of the employees.

From the context, the story is about her everyday life, her problems, and her funny situations.

I’m not sure about all the details, but it seems like she might get a job at the café in the next chapter.

At the start of the book we learn about the murder of old Mrs. Rose Isabel Primero. She lived alone in Kingsmarkham, a quiet English town. Years ago her handyman, Herbert Painter, was acused of killing her and was hanged. Everyone thought the case was closed for good.

But the Reverend Henry Archery starts to think something is wrong. His son is engaged to Tess Painter, the daughter of the man who was hanged, and that makes him curious about what really happend. He starts asking questions even if people don’t like it. It feels like some things from the past don’t fit right, like maybe there was more behind the crime than people wanted to see.

I think this part was a bit sad and also interesting. I feel bad for Tess because its not her falt what her dad did.

The reverend begins talking with people who were around when the murder happend. Inspector Wexford doesn’t like that the old case is being opened again, but he can’t stop it. Tess is trying to have a normal life and get married, but everyone still looks at her like “the murderer’s daughter”.

Wexford goes back to the old evidance ,the maid Alice Flower, the times when the coal was delivered, the 200 pesos found in Mrs. Primero’s handbag, and even what a little 5 year old kid said back then. While more people start remembering, new secrets come out. There’s a mother and daughter who hate each other, a weird nephew living in Forby Hall, and some other villagers with things to hide.

I liked this part because it gets more misterious. There’s a lot of people with secrets and I was like watajai who is lieing?? Sometimes its a bit confuzing but i like it.

Now the investigation gets more serious. Wexford starts to think that maybe Painter wasn’t the real killer at all. The more he looks, the more he finds that the truth was hidden by people who wanted to protect themselves.Tess feels angry and confused because her whole life she thought her father was guilty, but now there’s a chance he wasn’t. Other characters also start to fall apart when their secrets begin to show. There’s jealousy, greed, and shame everywhere. People begin to realize that what happend years ago is still controlling their lives today.

I think this part was my favorite because it’s like everything is coming out and people are getting scared. I felt bad for Tess but also I was happy they maybe find the truth lol.

The last topics that the book says its about the food,the martial arts and theatre there is a little explication of them:Traditional Chinese theater, like Peking Opera, combines music, dance, and colorful costumes to tell stories. It’s known for elegant movements and makeup. Chinese food is rich in flavors, with dumplings, noodles, and Peking duck. Martial arts, or kung fu, are key to Chinese culture, showing discipline, balance, and strength.

My favorite part of the book it was about the dishes and food of china because it looks very delicious.
