The Vietnamese version was definitely accustomed to their culture considering the farms and dress. I was surprised to see that physical abuse was put into this fairy tale, which makes me wonder if that is still a norm in their culture which would drastically differ from ours. - "Cinderella" is just a lonely orphaned girl that the village calls "The Turkey Girl", she only hangs around the farm with the turkeys and works on the farm for money from wealthier villagers
- Moccasins and shells instead of a gown
This story ends with The turkey Girl not returning home in time to let them back into their pen so they lead her forever. Rimonah in this story never finds a prince to come save her, or does not go run off with him and live happily ever after. - Scary seven ghouls instead of dwarves
- Snow White marries youngest nicest ghoul within a day of knowing each other, Lalla then acts as a queen to the ghouls
- The evil mother captures Snow White and the prince of her homeland falls in love and marries her
- When Lalla awakens again, she outsmarts the guards while her new husband is away and goes back to the ghouls

Though Lalla did find happiness in a man, she followed her heart with made her happiest.
