Lowland regions with slopes ranging from 0 to 8 percent are where most temporary crops are grown, including lowland coconut palms. This is also where the majority of agricultural activities are concentrated. On the other hand, portions of rolling to undulating lands (with slopes between 8 and 18 percent) are typically planted with permanent crops like coconuts and fruit-bearing trees, in addition to highland cash crops.

The prime agricultural area in the province is capable of supporting a high level of crop production, which is necessary because 62 percent of the population of the province relies on this industry for both their food and their sources of revenue from agricultural crops.

As a contribution to combating malnutrition, social innovation for newborns, toddlers, and their mothers is important. The intervention includes supplemental feeding for young children and nutrition education for their mothers and/or primary caregivers. The supplementary foods were locally produced and processed from rice, mung bean, and sesame seeds that were high in protein and energy for early children, and nutrition education was provided to educate the mothers and/or caregivers on good nutrition.

According to a nationwide study, the field testing project was done in specific Philippine regions where the prevalence of malnutrition among children under the age of five was high. This has a positive impact because they are provided food but the negative side is that most of them will just depend on the program. 

The dumagat students struggle to learn and study because they are not provided with a decent education; their learnings are limited because they are rarely given the opportunity to attend school and study. The technological advancement that we believe will in some way contribute to the solution of this issue is the provision of projectors for them, of course, with the guidance of those who are knowledgeable about the device (projector).

Although, it can be beneficial to them, there are also a disadvantage because their supply of electricity is limited to make the projector work often. Nevertheless, we believe that this is the best solution available so far to address the problem that they are experiencing with regards to their education.
