In reality, the only winners are the charities that receive the all the money raised. Each team has 32 hours to create something new be it an app or a new device, the amazing part is that they then give all the money it makes to charity. At which point they turn over all ownership of the new idea to Codestone the company that runs the event. Codestone takes all the money made by each individual product and donates it to charities.
