Beforehand I had made Christmas art but not all the artwork I made I’ve done before. I had never made the houses, the penguin or the snowman in that art style.

I enjoyed making the different artwork with different materials. I enjoyed everyone sharing ideas which gave me ideas on what to do.

The trees, star, and house worked well. It worked well because I followed the instructions and they were easy to make. The penguin and snowman didn’t work very well I couldn’t get them to stand own without any support. I knew that was because of how big I did their bodies and heads that it made it difficult to stand.

I learned from this experience that there are many different items to make for Christmas and most of the items you could make with children above 3 years old.

I would work in this way again as it was fun and easy to do different Christmas items. It was also fun to make multiple Christmas items inside of just one.

What inspired my work was everyone sharing ideas which gave me ideas on what to do. We had to make different art pieces to do with Christmas so everyone sharing what they did for their different art pieces gave me ideas.

During the lecture, we had to go around the class to see the other students work. I found by looking at the other students work that everyone had different and creative ideas. We all made items relating to Christmas but for my ornaments, I made a star while others made a snowman, tree, snowflakes, etc. It didn’t change my view on my own work as I had mostly different items relating to Christmas.
