Toyota was founded by Japanese entrepreneur Kiichiro Toyoda in 1937. Initially, the company began as a division of Toyota Industries, specializing in the production of looms. However, after the success of the first passenger car in 1936, Kiichiro decided to create a separate company focused on the production of cars.

Toyota produces vehicles across all classes, from compact city cars to SUVs and pickup trucks. Popular models include:

Toyota Corolla — one of the best-selling cars in the world.

   Toyota Camry — a popular mid-size sedan.

Toyota RAV4 — one of the best-selling SUVs globally.

Toyota Hilux— renowned for its durability and reliability, especially in off-road conditions.

Toyota Motor Corporation was founded by the Toyoda family. The word "Toyoda" uses ten Japanese strokes to write while "Toyota" uses only eight. Eight is considered a lucky number in Japanese culture. For these reasons "Toyota" was chosen as the company's name. Their logo replaced the past geometric design with a red circle and markings spelling out Toyota.

     Interesting facts:

1)In 1966, the first generation of the Toyota Corolla appeared, which currently has 12 generations, with more than 50 million units sold. This makes the Toyota Corolla the best-selling car model in the history of the automobile industry.

2)For the filming of the movie "Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines" Toyota provided 7 Toyota Tundra cars. After that, Toyota marketers decided to make an exclusive version of this car Toyota Tundra Terminator 3 Edition.
