US citizens are granted the ability to practice their religion and beliefs with reason, without being obstructed by the government.

This amendment is very prominent in our society as it reminds the people of the US that they can believe in what they want, without having the constant feeling of being strictly moderated. Since the population in America is so diverse this constitutional right is essential to almost all citizens, because we all derive from different cultures and race, an individuality that should be fairly applied for everyone. How can we express such uniqueness in our blood if it were to be detain by the subjective dislike of other. This amendment will help keep in check of just that.

The people are free to speak their own opinions and stand ground to their words of what they believe in, verbally and thoughtfully. 

We the people people are given the opportunity to help shape society that best fits for the majority of the people. This is a major aspect in creating balance between the people and the government, since the government choice is not always in favor of most people. If we believe that their is a slight corruption in new laws or regulation, then we should be able to speak up and have the power to deem it worthy for a society that the people live in and not just the government.

Freedom of the Press disables the government to restrict people's opinions or statements they make on media such as newspapers, articles and websites.

This amendment gives the people a significant chance to write their opinions and what they believe is false and true. This can be important in society for it gives another option to express what they want to convey to the community and government. In a world where our ability to physically speak can be timid or even shunned, it is necessary for the people to be allowed to have there view point be shown through the media or any source of the press.

People of the US are given opportunities to congregate and discuss ideas or opinions.

One can simply advocate their own thought as an individual, but is is through an assembly will their ideas be more loudly demanded and recognized. With a large group applying their similar morals, the government will give great consideration in their words in order to accommodate for a large portion of the communities wants and needs. The significance of this amendment keeps the government and people balanced by allowing people to discuss criterias of their societal laws collectively.

The freedom to petition provides a simple way of presenting inquires on laws or regulations that they believe to be peculiar, to the government. This is very important in that we are able to take action just by gathering agreements on certain claims, and stating valid ideas that help create a society where the people have a say and not just the government.
