         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Autism is a developmental disorder characterized by difficulties with social interaction and communication, and by restricted and repetitive behavior.<br>Causes: There is no known cause for autism, but it is either developed pre-birth or while still an infant<br>Symptoms: Some symptoms of autism include avoiding eye contact, abnormal tone of voice, or deficits in speech comprehension<br>Age at which symptoms appear: Symptoms can appear as soon as a child is able to speak, walk, etc. The average age of diagnosis in the USA is over 4 years old.<br>Treatment:&nbsp; Early recognition, as well as behavioral, educational, and family therapies may reduce symptoms and support development and learning.<br>Prognosis: The prognosis in patients with autism is highly correlated with their IQ. Low-functioning patients may never live independently; they typically need home or residential care for the rest of their lives.<br><br><br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Rabies</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Rabies is a deadly virus spread to people from the saliva of infected animals.<br>Cause: The virus is spread through the saliva of infected animals.<br>Symptoms: Symptoms include fever, nausea, headache, anxiety, and more.<br>Treatment:&nbsp; Seek medical help immediately. There is no specific treatment for rabies. Once symptoms appear, it's nearly always fatal. A vaccine can prevent infection.<br>Prognosis: Once clinical signs of rabies appear, the disease is nearly always fatal, and treatment is typically supportive. To date less than 20 cases of human survival from clinical rabies have been documented, and only a few survivors had no history of pre- or postexposure prophylaxis.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <title>Epilepsy</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-Epilepsy is a disorder in which nerve cell activity in the brain is disturbed, causing seizures.<br>Cause: There are many ways that you can get epilepsy, such as genetically, but you can also get it through a stroke, brain tumor, drug/alcohol abuse, and more.<br>Symptoms: Symptoms include confusion, "Staring spells", loss of consciousness, and more.<br>Treatment:&nbsp; Epilepsy is usually treated by medications and in some cases by surgery, devices, or dietary changes.<br>Prognosis: Most individuals who develop epilepsy have a high likelihood of achieving remission. Eventually, many patients successfully discontinue the use of medications. 56–60 Frequency of seizures, type of seizure, and number of seizure types are important predictors of outcome.<br><br></div>]]></description>
