I have been a teacher for 22 years, including three years in Beijing and Shanghai.
I chose to work at Durham University because it is one of the top universities in the UK and because I enjoy helping international students to learn.
I live in Newcastle and travel 40 miles to work every day.
In my non working time I like to watch and play sport , especially rugby, and spend as much time as possible with my 11 year old son.
I also like to listen to music.
