STEP 3
1. Which corporations would you like to (or not like to) work for? Why?
Of all different type of corporations, I always had preferred those with a good work environment, where you can feel happy to be part of but that also has recreative activities in order to relax the mind from all the stress that high work demand can cause. On the other side, the corporations that does not care about the mental health of their workers and that does not provide anything to improve the labour environment makes (to me) you want to leave as soon as possible because stress and bad mood overcomes the desire of working.

2. In what ways do you think corporations play a positive role in society?
As I said in the last question, the corporations that cares about their workers definitely promotes the good relationship within them and that definitely increases productivity, therefore the positive impact on society can be huge.

3. Is there anything negative about corporations in your opinion?
Yes, in Mexico at least, most of the corporations does not care enough of their workers. This generates a bat atmosphere in almost all the works that can provoke low productivity, unsatisfaction and lot of inner discussions between workers and bosses. It is a serious problem that must be analysed.

STEP 4
Broad topic: Corporations
Narrow topic: Corporate social responsibility
Sub-topics: Corporations have high power and influence to make a detrimental or possitive environmental and social impact.

Step 3

1. Which corporations would you like to (or not like to) work for? Why?
Well, I think in which corporation I would like to work for depends on the purpose of each one. For instance, I´d like to work in an ONG corporation that help to be better a part of the society. The main reason is because I want to direct my knowledge in helping of others and corporations that are instituted for a specific way to help are important to make the world better and better.

On the other hand, corporations for profit are important part of the society because they give job places to people. And support the supply and demand in almost each economy.

2. In what ways do you think corporations play a positive role in society?
The ways in which corporations play a positive role in society are three, and I going to explain everyone:

First, corporations that help to others (people, animals, nature, or environment). This type is clear the positive role, that is helping to improve the actual and future conditions in economy, sciences, earth, ecosystems, etc.

Secondly, we found the corporations for profit, these are important part in economy because each one provides jobs, pay taxes, and increase the economic dynamism.

Finally, corporations provide goods and services to the society, then people have the chance of consuming and satisfy their necessities.

3. Is there anything negative about corporations in your opinion?

Yes, there are several negative things about some corporations. First of all, some of them cause damage to the environment, for example, soda companies extract a lot of water of the earth causing that freshwater will be less and less.

On the other hand, corporations that are concentrated in an economy as the single supplier, con affect the price and goods supply affecting to the lower income people that maybe they cannot satisfy their necessities.

Step 4

Broad topic area: corporations

Narrow topics focus: Corporate social responsibility

Sub-topics:

Corporations can have enormously detrimental effects on the environment

limitation of the business case for corporate responsibility
