In 1941, France, Holland, Belgium, and Norway surrendered. In the same year the battle of Britain began. Also Hitler invaded The USSR going ans far as Stalingrad and Leningrad. In December 10, 1942, the German allies, the Japanese, bombed Pearl harbor. The United States declared war a few days later. In the subsequent year, the battle of Midway and Al aleman, which were allies victories turned the tide of the war. The Sicilian campaign and the Invasion of Normandy brought the end of Nazi Germany. Battles of Iwo jima and Okinowa stopped the Japanese offensives. The bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki ended the Japanese resolve.
