         <description><![CDATA[<div>Roman laws propagated the idea of equal protection under the law without regards to social class, while Roman society was divided by plebeians (the vast majority of the society), and the wealthy, land-owning patricians. Foreign peoples were also integrated into Roman society after its expansion. Romans imported many goods from its territories and other parts of the world, like beef, glassware, and leather. Roman inventions were mostly taken from other societies, like the arch, which was first found in the Etruscans. Romans also developed the aqueduct, the calendar, and concrete.</div>]]></description>
