They immigrated to Victoria.  Many Turkish people that came to Australia have relatives that fought in the war.  Now-a-days there are 60000 Turkish immigrants in Australia. Australia and Turkey signed that agreement so Australia could be more populated.  People come to Australia by plane from Turkey. Turks began to emigrate from Cyprus to work but they were also forced to leave there home due to a conflict from 1963 to 1974. Some Turkish came to Australia to get a job in Australia. We eat Kebabs and there is a shop called Sahara and it is Turkish. We celebrate Eid Al-Adha and Eid Al-Fitr. When some gets married we have big drums and the husband would sit on the window of the car. One of the most common way that they traveled was by boat. No it was not one of those fancy one it was old wood with a little sail.

What did they do when they came?
When they came to Australia the main thing that they would do was farming or agricultural work since they didn’t have much and they lived in a new place.

Well some organisation like  Canada Club help celebrate traditions in Australia. They may celebrate Canada day or even Thanks Giving which take place on october.
