Did you think everything was going to be happily ever after? Or did you think it would end up differently?

Pygmalion thought that no woman was good enough for him. He finally thought he found someone perfect. He created her out of stone. But now, something happened. The gods are fighting and the humans are taking the hits for it. All because, Aphrodite turned a statue into a real living creature. It caused an uproar between the gods. It was against the books. After many decisions, Galatea had to be killed. Pygmalion was crushed. It was the first woman he thought he would be in love with for the rest of his lifetime. The only woman he fell in love with. It wasn’t fair for Pygmalion or their child. They had to see her life run out of her eyes. That was the last thing they wanted to see.  

Rumors spread about Galatea and she quickly became well known around the small town. Galatea decided to try to be normal and have a normal job, but it was hard, people didn't like her, they thought she was weird because she was made of stone. Galatea was criticized and thrown about. Everyday people harassed her and despised her. Until one day, she couldn't take it anymore she didn’t want anymore of it. She went into the center of town.She stood tall on a stone, and spoke that she wanted to be treated equally and wanted rights. People looked at her strangely and shouted at her, “Freak!” “Go back to being a statue!” “No one’s going to accept you!” She stood there, rocks being thrown at her, and closed her eyes. Then, it happened, the town started to rumble and tremble. Earthquakes came from every side of the town. The people ran, but they didn't run for long. The town was crushed, some houses fell into the cracks. The town was wiped off the map in one second. 

Some say Galatea and Pygmalion ran off to the neighboring town where they lived there for the rest of their lives. Others say They stayed in the crumbled town. Some even say the people who have fallen into the depths are still alive and roaming around down there aimlessly. Whichever the case it was, Galatea and Pygmalion were never seen again, and their son, Paphos, was never seen again. Some claim they see Paphos roaming around the wrecked town but the claims were never confirmed… but now, after another town close by was destroyed by earthquakes, we fear we may next and we fear she’s still out there. Time will only tell...

I think Galatea isn’t going to love Pygmalion anymore in the future because they could start to have social problems and maybe Galatea will leave Pygmalion because we don't know that she ever loved him in the first place she just became human and she got with him and she might have not liked him. Galatea might go with another man and maybe Pygmalion will start to feel jealous because he made Galatea and he wants her to love him instead of any other man. Maybe Galatea will stop loving Pygmalion and Aphrodite will turn her back into a statue because she probably thought that they were both meant to be with each other.
