         <description><![CDATA[<div><br>Paragraph 1. Term Identification<br><br></div><ul><li><pre>After the second world war,The Soviet Unions and, the US both emerged with there fight over power. The battle between Communism and Capitalism caused more branches of conflict for the US. Korea eventually boiled over in their small peninsula were communism in the east was booming and trying to expand for territory. The Korean war was a Revolution, Division, and partisan Warfare. 

<br></pre></li><li><pre>After Japan surrendered in 1945, the US took over the southern hemp of Korea while the Soviet Union too the north. They were divided by the 38th parallel fights began to increase between the two sides "  The areas north and south of the DMZ are heavily fortified, and both sides maintain large contingents of troops there. Over the years there have been occasional incidents and minor skirmishes but no significant conflicts"<a href="https://www.britannica.com/place/38th-parallel">(Brittanica, N.D, PAra.4)</a> . President Trumen at the time was very concerned with Communism which they viewed as a "Direct threat to american democracy" Trumen also wanted to prevent Russia from gaining anymore territory, and believed that this was the Soviet Unions first step at world domination. </pre></li></ul><pre>-  He believed he has no    other choice but to stop the Korean army when they invaded the south in June 1950. </pre><div><br></div><div><br>Paragraph 2.
