I would share cake B with six friends because I calculated the area of cake A 15 x 15= 225 sq in. Then I divided 225 by 8 people which came out to 28.125 sq in per slice per person. Cake B had an area of 12 x 17= 204 sq in. I divided 204 by 6 people which came out to 34 sq. in per slice per person. So, cake B would give me 5.875 sq in more of cake. 34-28.125=5.875 sq in. My winner is Cake B!

I would take option 'A' because if you made twice as much as the people around you, you would be wealthier and be ahead by the thousands. However if you chose option 'B', you would fall behind in money, but not that much if you look at it, and I believe that if everyone around makes that much money, the prices for food and other stuff would rise. Unable to keep up, you would probably get the lowest quality or, in worse-case problems, nothing. So, in conclusion, I would take making $50,000 (and other people $25,000) to me making $100,000, and other people twice as much.
