James I (1603-1625)

I am king James I and I am the first puritan king who took over after the great queen Elizabeth. I was the first king of England to translate the bible into English, calling it the king James bible. I was honor as the namesake of the new English settlement in our newly acquired land of America. we named it Jamestown.

Charles I (1625-1649)

I am king Charles I and I was chosen to be king by God I believe in the divine right of kings so everyone should listen to me. I hate the parliament we fight over everything including religion, taxation and even governance which is why I tried to resolve them so many times but the kept getting back together saying I don't have the right to dissolve them. our beef led to a civil war against my side the royalist and their side the round heads. sadly I ended up losing and being executed.

Oliver Cromwell (1649-1658)

I am Oliver Cromwell also known as lord protector after my amazing run as the military leader during the civil war. during my rule I decided to abolish the monarchy and establish the Commonwealth. some may call me a strict ruler and they wouldn't be wrong; I ran England as a military dictator. I limited people's freedom by setting up curfews and telling people how to act in the streets.

Charles II (1658-1685)

I am king Charles II and I was wrongfully exiled during Cromwell's rain so I decided to come back after he died and reclaim the throne that was rightfully mine. during my time I did lots of good things like give the citizen religious tolerance that gives them free rain to believe in whatever they want. some bad things that were out of my control happened like there was this big fire one day in 1666 and it just kept growing it took out half the town by the time we were able to put it out. the black plague also started back up but we were able to handle it faster then the first time. I also gave them back fun past time the the other ruler took away from them.

James II (1685-1688)

I and king James II and I am the last roman Catholic king after king Charles decide to have 12 illegitimate children. I solidified the constitutional monarchy and laid the foundation of the English bill of right which limits monarchs power. being king of a major protestant country me and my people fought a lot about religion.

Mary and William (1688-1702)

i am Mary i am married to a man named William, i was force to marry him cause as a women i was not allowed to rule the throne alone. since we were in a constitutional monarchy thanks to the previous king i had to govern in accordance with the parliament. i also passed the English bill of rights in 1689 which finally limited monarchy's permanently.
