A tessellation is a formation of repeated patterns or images repeated in order to form geometric shapes
2. I created this by using an 8x8 canvas. Then adding guides for 1x1,2x2,4x4 etc... I now opened the image I wanted in a new file and cropped it 2x2,,4x4 etc so they could fit the square. I placed it on every square. I then repeated this until i filled up all the squares. i then flipped every other row vertically to line up the bottoms. I then merged layers and removed the guides. I adjust the contrast, brightness etc..
3. What i liked was you could create it how you wanted to and manifest the colors to your desire. My favorite picture is the third one called bud.
4. I struggled with fitting the images so no white was showing.
5.
