Arts Integration and 21st century learning require collaboration, creation/design, and the engagement of higher order thinking.

- In order to truly have an arts integration based classroom, you need an ability to have a large space to meet communally.
-Melanie said that if you always have to shift your furniture to create an open space, arts integration is less likely to happen. So plan ahead, allow for that open space to always be there.
-Biggest thing is to consider where students will store all their "STUFF." (backpacks, etc.)
