My school was in a middle-class neighbourhood in Oshawa, with a lack of diversity. It provided me with a foundation for academics and sports, and I was lucky enough to have a lot of family support with my schooling. It was mostly for my parents to keep tabs on me, but I also used most of my balance texting my friends in the middle of the night.
