"He takes out a lighter" Blanche is attracted to danger, the lighter is an allegory for the boy. 
"I can't stand a naked lightbulb" -protecting herself, concealing her truth. 
"The matron catches hold of Blanches arm and prevents her flight." An aimless, free moth. Suggests her anxiety is calmed?
