In the education system, I have seen unconscious bias in teachers and school staff. Students of color are more likely to experience disciplinary actions and are overall less supported. Students of color have been judged and reprimanded when struggling with their education rather than encouraged with love and empathy. They are also less likely to be encouraged or supported when taking more advanced classes.
