The Crow Indians were known to have created beautiful embroidery art. They used beads, buffalo fur, horse fur, and more to create these pieces. Also, common geometric elements were triangles and hourglass-like shapes which were distinctive to their culture.

This song suggests that the recipient must climb on top of the tree tops to obtain these feathers. Therefore, this proves that the Crow Indians represented what they wore through their art (music).

The eagle-bone whistle is used by the Crow tribe in some of their Peyote ceremonies. This instrument is made out of the bones of an American bald eagle or an American Golden Eagle.

The Crow Indian Tribe often used literature and stories to document legends of their people.

Joe Medicine Crow was the first Crow Indian to ever earn a Masters Degree in the tribe. He influences his tribe to sustain traditional ways in the tribe. Furthermore, he was officially the tribe historian in 1947 for his enthusiasm for the Crow Tribe.
