Clear and consistent communication to parents about incidents. Also, a clear understanding of what is considered to be an incident that would require communication.

Parents & students can trust that what they share with staff will only be shared with other involved parties or other staff.

I have heard parents complain that reports have been made to administration about bullying issues and they were not taken seriously or looked into the problem. We need the parents and students to feel that their voices are being heard so they aren't afraid to report it. Following through with reprimanding violators who are found to be bullying and/or harassing others. We say we have no a tolerance policy, but sometimes it seems we "turn the other cheek" when some bullying is reported.

Include in orientations and presentations. Such as freshman orientation, sports parents/athletes meetings, etc.
