“Furthermore, “normal” would continue to deepen the pre-existing disparities within our education systems...”
–Do you agree? What elements of flexibility and creativity can you revamp for in-person blended learning?

The learning gap is very real as we all know because of covid. We now have to try and play catch up with our students which is very difficult because of the traumas that they and we have been through and still going through. I feel that for the time being, we must get back to basics. Less is more. We need to be able to teach but at a good enough pace for our students, not follow an accelerated pacing guide.

COVID shook up the education world. And while things are settling back down we have to make sure they fall in place where we want them, not necessarily where they were prior to the pandemic. This is a great opportunity to change processes that did not work before. There are so many resources available now to provide additional opportunities for independent work and incorporate time for small groups or 1-on-1s. Education will never be what it was prior to COVID, but it can definitely be better!
