         <description><![CDATA[<p>It was the first British parliament attempt to raise money through direct tax of the colonial people by taxing legal papers, newspapers, pamphlets, cards, almanacs, and dice. The affect of the Pontiacs war' George Grenville was hoping to meet the cost with the sugar act. Many colonist protested by tarring and feathering the stamp agents and the sons of liberty. They sacked homes of the rich and who were the"favorites of the royal government". They soon came to an agreement and they could only be taxed with there consent.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Boston Massacre started in March 5, 1770. The British soldiers were guarding the Boston Customs House and shot into a crowd of innocent civilians. The Boston Massacre reflected growing tensions between Great Britain and its American colonies. Samuel Adams played a role on this day and was&nbsp;as well the signer of the Declaration of Independence. On March 5th he was sent to remove all the British troops from Boston. </p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The <strong>Boston tea party </strong>was on December 16, 1773. The Tea Party was an accident with 342 chests, 3 ships of tea that belonged to the east Indian company.&nbsp; The Americans were protesting both a tax on a tea. The parliament passed the <strong>Tea Act</strong> witch helped the finically troubled and gave&nbsp; a monopoly on all tea exported to the colonies and freedom&nbsp; on the export tax and a&nbsp; refund on jobs.</p>]]></description>

It was a petition sent to the King by the Congress where the delegates asked the King to stop using military force against the colonists so that they could settle their differences with Parliament in peace.The petition showed the loyalty to the British crown.          <title>Women or the involvement of slaves in the Revolution</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>A lot of&nbsp; African Americans were on the sidelines of the action during the war. Their future is depending on independence not by Congress or the king. Slavery was an accepted in every colony and by 1770, there were 47,000 enslaved Blacks in the northern colonies&nbsp; 20,000 in New York. Most enslaved people who ran away in search of their freedom were men. Pregnant women, mothers with infants and small children, and those who cared for elderly parents or friends could not&nbsp; abandon those who depended on them.</p>]]></description>

The treaty is what ended the American Revolutionary War.&nbsp; The treaty was signed by Benjamin Franklin, John Adams and John Jay. The agreement recognized U.S. as an independent territory and granted the U.S. significant western territory.&nbsp;</p>]]></description>
