About why I'm interested in stress and LGBT.

I used to feel too much pressure from study and life, and my body wasted away quickly. I didn't want to eat anything every day and even felt hungry. Every night I can't sleep and I feel so anxious. I chose to use alcohol to numb myself, and I know it's a bad behavior but I can't help it and I really want to get a good night's sleep.
I am interested in LGBT because many of my friends belong to this group. One of my gay friends was rejected because he confessed his love to someone he liked, and was discriminated against and ridiculed by others. I don't understand this approach. Everyone has the right to pursue true love. Should people be discriminated against just because the person they like is of the same sex?
So I put these two things into my essay and into my design.

Hockney, who was born in England, first made his name in pop art. He worked in a variety of styles, not limited to one way of painting, and later created collages and expressionist landscapes. His painting style is mostly realistic. Most of his works are based on lake blue and grassy green.

https://www-oxfordreference-com.ucreative.idm.oclc.org/view/10.1093/acref/9780191807671.001.0001/acref-9780191807671-e-627
Source from：

The reason why I choose Hockney as one of the artists I study is that most of his works focus on homosexuality, and he himself is a member of LBGT group, which can be reflected in one of his most famous paintings featuring homosexuality (Peter Getting Out of Nick's Pool 1966). This is also Hockney's signature style, the pool and the white wave surface.

Search from：https://www-oxfordreference-com.ucreative.idm.oclc.org/view/10.1093/acref/9780191782763.001.0001/acref-9780191782763-e-1148

He himself is a member of the LGBT community. But suffering from depression, he jumped to his death from a 28-story building.

There were all kinds of artists who were producing in this era, all of them different in style, but all of them were making some contribution to the phenomenon of this society. The LGBT community is growing in my country and even around the world.Under such data, some people still treat these minority groups with the attitude of discrimination and monsters. When they know that they belong to this group, they will gradually alienate them. LGBT is not just a single group of people who are gay, but also bisexual, asexual, transgender, intersex and so on. I'd like to introduce two artists who are giving voice to this minority group. I'd like to introduce two artists who are giving voice to this minority. Arts activists address some of the most pressing social and political issues of our time. There is no limit to the form or style of activist art projects - it depends on the artist's background and personal preferences. There is no doubt that such work has the potential to improve, empower and even transform communities and societies. This article compares two contemporary artists who want to bring positive change to the world: Ren Hang and Hockney.

The first artist is Ren Hang, a photographer from China. He once said, 'Is it a shame to have your own body? In the traditional view of Chinese people, sex cannot be discussed openly, even it is a taboo. In the traditional concept, this is a very shameful thing. To take a simple example, children often ask their parents the question 'Where do we come from' when they are young. Parents will feel ashamed, do not know how to answer the question will make up lies to fool the child, do not know that this behavior but aroused the child's curiosity. What is the secret of grown-ups. Ren Hang was born in the most feudal era, but he made this move -- to show people the naked sex. He was gay himself. He's going out of his way to speak for this community.

The second famous artist is David Hockney, who is still the most famous LGBTQ artist and one of the first artists to paint gay people. He expressed the group in a humorous cartoon style. It was also a taboo in his country in 1961.，But he chose to do it anyway. Many people will wonder why Hockney is so famous. We can see his use of pop art in his works. It's a bright, colorful style of art. He brought this artistic style to his work and brought it to life at the same time. Hockney can be seen in his work as wanting to capture his relationships with the people he knew. Many of his works were inspired by the people he loved. He completed the Mosaic of the whole painting by capturing the movement and appearance details of the photographed objects in a period of time, thus breaking the single static moment behind the painting.

Finally, although Hockney and Ren may seem stylistically different, they share some common themes and a desire to change society's perception of these minorities. In Ren Hang's works, many nudes are used to express sex, and the cold and warm colors are used to highlight the contrast. His works are permeated with eroticism and mystery. Although the object of Ren Hang's photography is the body of young people, it can be seen from his lens that both human and nude are a highly condensed expression. He can well integrate the photographic environment with the human body without being too abrupt. But not most people accept the direct, undisguised style of his work. No matter which one of his works can be taken out, people will be unforgettable, even surprised by the bold degree of his photography and rich imagination and physical behavior to the psychological bottom line. For example, he uses peacock to put a woman with red lips in the picture. The peacock's side face covers half of the woman's face, which is full of temptation but also strange. This kind of imagination I don't think ordinary people can come up with but Ren Hang can. The same cannot be said of Hockney, whose colours look comfortable and whose compositions are fresh, with teal being his most common colour base. The characters in the paintings come alive in his hands although they are always surrounded by a faint sense of loneliness. One of the most common elements in his work is the swimming pool. There is no discomfort or even shame in his work. He works in a wide range of media, including oil painting, watercolor, photography and printmaking. As a member of the LGBT community, Hockney's work is more accessible and allows others to feel what he is trying to say. Although Ren Hang and Hockney are artists from different countries and different fields, it is in this way that they want to express what they want to express in their fields. This is the most effective way to use the power of ordinary people to create their own art and reality. They are willing to use their small power to speak out for the LGBT community.

I was very anxious before I started this project and I didn't know how to do this project. I got the idea from a video of a Free Hug on the street. The creator had a sign at his feet that said: Free Hug. I originally thought that I would put on the doll's clothes and stand on the street to do this performance art, but I thought there was a danger that people might be more curious about the people in the clothes, instead of focusing on talking about themselves.
