This is an example of how Padlet could be used as a journalling tool. There are many other tools, such as edublogs or even features within SLS. The important consideration is access and ease of use for facilitators and pupils to provide feedback and track their progress.

Important notes on setting up Padlet for journaling:

Please do not reveal all the journaling prompts to participants -- these should be updated session by session.

Include instructions for your pupil participants, such as:

Creating a padlet and creating new posts

Login using Student ICON Google accounts and create a new linked account to Padlet

Should your school have a subscription plan, you can create unlimited padlets for your pupils and add them as contributors. Otherwise, note that free accounts are limited to 3 free padlets, and pupil participants are expected to share the links with you.

Managing padlets

Privacy settings: Password (free); Org wide (subscription); viewers can write

Archive the padlet after RC has concluded (padlet will still be accessible, but will not count toward quota of free padlets.)

Submission guidelines

Include instructions on deadlines and where they can find the journaling prompts (e.g. check SLS)
